Cabin Creek Health Clinic Expansion:Completed successful Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant of $100,000, part of $200,000 project, to expand the clinic to Riverside High School. 

  Playground Equipment/Ballfield Renovations:  The UKVEC contributed to the Starting Points Center at Sharon/Dawes Elementary School to purchase preschool playground equipment.  The UKVEC also contributed to the Cabin Creek Little League Association to purchase baseball equipment and safety gear.  The UKVEC also worked with the Kanawha County Parks and West Virginia Army National Guard to grade baseball fields at Gallagher and Sharon/Dawes Elementary School. 

  Cabin Creek Watershed Van:  Coordinated with the Kanawha County Commission and the Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority to supply a passenger van to the watershed for various activities. 

  Cabin Creek Health Clinic Phase II:  $1.5 million expansion.
